An enclosure's material thickness depends on its size and the equipment or components it will need to support. Large enclosures may require structural framing, subframes, and skids. We have fabricated enclosures as large as 50’ x 12’ x 12’.
Fabrication
Mobile and stationary control or command centers can include sound attenuation for noise reduction, insulated walls, floors, and ceilings with climate controls for heating and cooling.
Finishing
Single or double doors are used in areas that require frequent access, while removable panels are ideal for smaller spaces or locations accessed infrequently. We offer a wide range of latches, locks, handles, hinges, and drawer slides to suit your application.
Testing
Fixed or motorized louvers are available to provide airflow for equipment requiring air for combustion or cooling. In locations where noise is a problem, we provide many different sound attenuating materials and baffles for noise reduction.
Mounting/Installing Equipment
We work most often with carbon steel, galvanized steel, galvanneal, stainless steel (304 & 316), and Aluminum (5052 & 6061), and have the ability to work with additional materials as needed. The choice is largely dependent on the environment the equipment will be used in.
Non-Destructive Testing
Finishes include powder coat or wet spray painted. Aluminum and Stainless Steel enclosures, cabinets, and consoles can be unfinished, powder coated, or wet spray painted. Finish options are dependent on the operating environment and the customers' appearance preferences.
Assembly
The methods and complexity of assembly vary by enclosure size. Small enclosures, cabinets, and control stands typically only require welding. Larger enclosures, command centers, and control rooms, however, normally require both welding and fastening.
